The Drakensberg Mountains

Don’t go to the Drakensbergs, I’m afraid you’ll only be disappointed. You couldn’t possibly have such stunning walking as we did, along with the great weather and smashing company. There’s no way you could get the perfect clear mornings, the sunsets against the mountains, or the cheap wines after wonderful dinners. The hotels will still be just as plush, but you couldn’t get better service than they gave us. And don’t expect your leader to be so efficient and such good company as our George.

In fact don’t think you’ll be as blown away by the panoramas from ‘Try Me’ hill, or ‘Baboon Rock’ as we were.

You’ll be wasting your time. Best to stay at home.
